ความคิดเห็นที่ 5 In a complex world of living, people seem to divide their ideas into two groups. Those in the first group think that their lives are better off when residing in small towns. On the other hand, persons in the second group argue that they stand better opportunities while living in big cities. Personally, I concur with the second group's opinion as there are many impelling reasons to live in large communities. The rationale behind my believe lies upon the fact that city dwellers benefit from convenient access to public infrastructures.  Nowadays, people in major metropolitan areas around the world live more comfortably than ever.  Those cities offer their populations clean water supplies, modern hospitals and rapid transit systems.  These facilities support the residents' wellbeing by satisfying their sanitary, health care and transportation needs. The advantage of city living is further substantiated by the fact that children who grow up in cities generally receive high standard of education than those living in small towns.  The availabilities of private institutions, famous colleges and renowned universities in suburbs as compared to more primitive schools in the rural areas make it easier for city students to excel in their academic studies. Last but not least, the diversities of businesses growing from massive population base make avail broader varieties of job opportunities in cities than those in small towns.  Higher magnitude of consumer demand and the availability of skilled workforce enable certain types of business such as those associated with large assembly lines and capital intensive technology development, to grow and prosper in city environment while such undertakings are nearly impossible to achieve in small towns.
