My suggestion is that you don't read off the chart as the readers can easily read the chart themselves. It's better to say somethings that are not included in the chart but complement or help explain or analyze the information in the chart, such as .....
Many of us plan our sleep patterns to fit our lifestyle. Sleeping time seems to take the lowest priority when we plan our daily activities. Yet sleep, an essential time of rest and rejuvenation, benefits our minds and bodies in many ways. When we continuously dont get the amount of sleep we need, we begin to pay for it in the forms of drowsiness, having trouble concentrating, irritability, increasing risk of accidents and lower productivity. When we fall asleep, our sleeps go in cycles throughout the night, moving back and forth between deep restorative sleep, more alert stages and dreaming. Deep sleep is by far the most efficient mean of rejuvenation of our body and mind but required longer period of un-interruption. For this reason, one long uninterrupted sleep period provides much better rest than several fragments of short sleep even when the total resting hours are the same., The chart below summarizes the sleep patterns of five groups of people based on a Canadian occupational survey. Based on the above theory, students benefit the most from their sleeps among the five occupations surveyed as they have not only the longest sleeping hours but also continuous sleeping period. Fortunately, students' only fixed-time activity is going to school during the day. Their other activities, such as homework, play and meal times, are rather flexible and, therefore, can be slotted at their chosen conviniences. By contrast, truck drivers work schedule are mostly fixed and segregated as they must build their daily schedule around their companys' demands. This adversely affect their sleep pattern as it must scatter into smaller fragments. Moreover, truck drivers' schedules change frequently depending on their assignments, loading/unloading times and driving destinations. As their sleep times are ever changing, their bodies' natural clock can not properly adjust itself which make it difficult for truck drivers to reach the deep-sleep stage. Full-time mothers sleeping patterns are not much better-off than truck drivers
