Why Tied Up?
Every little girl dreams about her wedding. We are all living in a society that is constantly fed by the image of happy couples, especially in the classic Disney movies such as Cinderella, Snow White, or the Little Mermaid. All the princesses get married with their princes and live happily ever after; however, the dream begins to change. This is an indication that the chimera about marriage starts to disappear. More women choose not to get married because they are do not want to go through many problems that will come right after they get married.
Nowadays, women can take care of themselves due to the fact that there are more job opportunities than before. In the past, women were expected to be stay-at home mothers because there were not many careers available for them. On the contrary, right now, some women actually earn more money than men do; therefore, they do not have to marry a man for their livelihood. Moreover, raising a family requires a large amount of income. Many couples have to spend more money in order to support their children. For these reasons, women prefer to live by themselves rather than get marry.
Since women are able to earn enough money, they do not want to commit themselves to others. Everyone loves freedom; they want to do everything that they want without caring for others. However, marriage do not let they do so. If they married, they have to be more concern about others: partner, children. According to these, women will not have time for their own; therefore, it is better for them to stay single, and do whatever they demand without asking for permission for others.

Due to the ideas of living that have changed, women have more choices in their lives. Thus, they can try to find someone who really understands and accepts everything about them, or they can stay single if they cannot discover the right person. However, everyone has their own lifestyle that may not match with others; for example, if a woman is very talkative while a man is not, they can pretend that they are happy, but they cannot do that forever. Since each person has his/her own routine of living, finding the man who has everything in common is harder than searching for a needle in an ocean.
Many women do not get married because they do not want to go through the economic problems or deal with the conflicts. Because marriage means that a couple has to stay and live together for the rest of their lives, many couples fail to do so. However, a couple can decide to stay together without signing the piece of paper while enjoying the decision they made. Moreover, the freedom to go is another gift that both men and women give each other in choosing instead of staying.
