I think.. I've seen one program in NIDA ka. The curriculum is very similar to Financial Engineering, which focus on Econometrics. Though I dont' remember if it also includes those Volatility Modeling.
To study this in abraod (UK and US), it's very expensive and even more expensive than MBA in some schools coz the paid is definitely very high. However, most of the jobs would be more available for Ph.d or those who are proficient in programming (VBA, C++) as well. I dont' think NIDA provides programming course, though it shouldn't be too difficult to have extra programming course elsewhere in BKK (and it's quite cheap). In London, the annual rate for these people is GBP 60,000 a year, not including Bonuses.
Though.. for us, it would be very competitive to get a job overthere, unless you graduate from their schools. However, in Thailand, this field starts to be highly demanded, especially for Bank of Thailand and of course for private banks. And since it's rare, the paid is not bad.
PS. sorry for not typing in Thai this time (i'm at work , no thai font ka)
