Your questionnaire does not encourage foreign tourists to express their true and fair views regarding tourism of Thailand.
Please allow me to express my 'uncalled-for but pertinent' views based on my experience (gained by having had 2 exgirlfriends who are tour guides):
12. Amazing Thailand public policies to promote tourism of the government make you decide to travel to Thailand. Yes, but when I arrived Thailand I fully realized that I had been misled by such policies. 13. By government policies, you receive discounts on products / services of Thailand Completely disagree. As a matter of fact, I have been ripped off by tour guides, entertainment establishments, jewelers, vendors, service providers and so on. 14. You can access travel information via the Official Website for Tourism in Thailand easily. Completely agree: I get a pack of lies. 15. Media used to distribute information about attractions and activities of Thailand thoroughly. Completely agree: I get even more packs of lies. 16. Thailand has an impressive cultural asset. Very impressive indeed, but false impressions, I must say, if you don't mind. 17. Attractions in town motivated you to visit Thailand. Yes, especially sex tours. How delightful....Wow! 18. Attractions outside the town motivated you to visit Thailand. Well, they said goods and services outside the town will be a lot cheaper than those in the capital, but I was charged double, treble or even ten times! Simply because most of your tour guides do not earn any decent salary. So, (according to my two exgirlfriends who are tour guides) they have to conspire with local business operators to cheat tourists, otherwise they won't be able to make a decent living. 19. Attractions in Thailand are in the exuberance. Sure. Corruptions and all the vices artfully covered up by the hypocritical and pretentious smiles of the land of smiles! 20. Source shopping in Thailand is attractive.
Too attractive that I have been ripped off so many times due to failure on my part to realize that the prices I have to pay also included the tour guides' attractive commissions! I sincerely hope that the thought-provoking garbage provided hereinabove can justifiably help you come up with upfront and honest policies on the presentation of 'a truly unseen Thailand,' instead of 'an annoying and obnoxiously obscene Thailand' the way I bloody well see it.
Cheers.
