The Benefits of Oatmeal
One way to gain a good nutrition is when you eat some kind of cereal, especially oatmeal cereal. Oatmeal is made of ground oats that can be made into a variety of foods, including porridges, cookies, and snacks. Recent studies also have shown that oatmeal has many benefits: weight control, reduce the risk of having cancer and cholesterol, and cosmetics
First, oatmeal has a lot of soluble fiber content. This property helps to weight control. Oatmeal is a low calories and high fiber cereal which can absorb water, like sponges, from the food you have eaten so this make you feel full very fast. It consisted of Proteins that stimulate metabolism. Proteins in oatmeal are alike the protein in soy bean, which mean that it can reduce the risk of obesity.
Second, fiber in oatmeal called beta-glucan can maximize the intestine to work more effectively. In addition, it can absorb the cholesterol and excrete from the human body. Consequence, the less cholesterol in the body the less riskily your body have namely high-blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
Finally, oatmeal is also used in the making of cosmetics. Not only had much nutrition mentioned, but oatmeal is also full of Vitamin E which contains natural glycerin which can make your skin soft and moisture. Lots of cosmetics can be made from oatmeal such as oatmeal lotion and cream or even skin scrub. Some honey or milk is combined with oatmeal for applying to your body and it can nourish your skin perfectly.
In conclusion, Oatmeal is another choice for diet. One who care and dream of good health should try this as its qualities can reduce risks from illness.
