Today, like every working days, I catched a speed boat at Klong Saen Saeb to go to work. Even though the canal is polluted, because of its quickness, I choose the service rather than take a bus in one of the most congested cities in the world. The BTS and MRT don’t reach my office. And to sit in a bus too long is not good to our health.
The service is really awful. The canal is smelly because the waste water have been drained and thrown into the canal without proper treatment. The boats are all shabby. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day the boat I got in had ceased to functioned (and that my excuse to the boss). The boats are difficult to get in even for men, let alone women and elders. Every day we take risk more than we should do because we don’t have many choices.
The issue is about the whole structure but I just want to talk about the very shabby boats the service offers, or rather, tortures us. I think everyone love peaceful morning and evening before and after work. I won’t ask too much. Many boats’ machines work too offensively loud. It even makes me get sick and want to throw up when I’m home. This little thing seems unimportant in this crowded city: we have suffered even much more than this on the streets. However, isn’t it too much to us to have to suffer this too while it doesn’t take much effort for the supplier to repair the boats, does it?
ไม่ทราบ function prefix ปฏิเสธด้วยอะไรครับ เช่น finish – unfinished จะใช้ became unfunctioned ได้ไหมครับ?
