"If" you have no contact whatsoever with English, then it might be more useful for you to spend your time learning something else you're interested in. Life is short. There are not that many of us who can manage their time (and their brains) well. Let's say, you want to beat Lance Armstrong's record at Tour de France (7 consecutive wins), I'd think you'd probably need your every waking (and sleeping) minute for practice and do nothing else. Would you have time to learn English, or do other stuff for that matter? (Must give a hat tip to Tiger Woods here for his ability to have had lots of extramarital affairs and held the number one position in the world rankings at the same time for so many years. Ha ha!)
But I think that is a big "if." Is it even possible? Like it or not, English has become the universal language of this world. That's how I see it.
