Dear fortuneteller&Rao-eng, Thanks a lot for your recommendations. Please let me clarify something to you. I do agree with you that many Thais have competence in teaching English as well as "Farangs" do or even better. I am also a 100% Thai who is currently teaching English to Thai students. The reason why I ask for a native-English teacher is because I'd like to help my students improve their pronunciation, and more importantly to lower their fear of foreigners. This prospective teaher will focus mainly on the teachings of speaking proficiency and pronunciation. We will work as a team to help our students master the English language, if possible. I didn't say that Thai teacher isn't good enough to teach English, but FOR NOW I need someone who has a perfect pronunciation to help correct my students' pronunciation. Based on plenty of research I have read during the past three years while studying in the ESL field, pronunciation is the most problematic issue ESL students encounter, especially if they start studying English when they are adults. Once again, thanks to you all for your recommendations. I will be looking for a teacher at other websites and won't bother you again.
