In 2000, Thailand was ranked as the fifth of the most drinking country in the world while Thai people drinking an average 13.59liters per person. Especially, 1.06 million is the male teenagers aged between 11-19 years, which representing 21.23% and 50% started drinking at 15 years old and potentially increasing every year. For female teenagers drinking aged between 15-19 years was increasing nearly by six times from 1.0 percent to 5.6 percent in the period of 7 years starting from 1996 to 2003. --> In his article “Underage Drinking”, Dr.XXX claims that there are great concerns over the increase in alcohol consumption in Thailand.   With an alcohol consumption average of 13.59 liters per person (per what?...day, week or year?) Thailand ranked fifth among the countries rife with heavy drinking problem--figures for the year 2000.   *****The next part is unclear!  It cannot be edited. .representing 21.23% of what? was increasing?  What was increasing?  Do you mean the number of teenagers or the rate of increase in alcohol consumption? What increased six times? 1.0 percent to 5.6 percent of what? ***** The impact of underage drinking, which is in education age is most of them get terrible school record because drinking is unhealthiness which effect the brain has decreased stimulation. It also leads to the quarrel or many accidents when they start to drive and eventually may lead to the crime. --> Drinking at early age is an unhealthy practice because alcohol produces undesirable effects on the brain.  Heavy drinking affects academic performance.   Being under the influence of alcohol, teenagers tend to drive recklessly and meet with nasty accidents or even commit illegal and immoral acts. There are many solutions have been considered to solve this problem. Such as the time limitation for advertising an alcohol product, that was forbidden in range of 05.00 am - 22.00 pm. or the prohibition of selling alcohol for children under the age of 18 years or even the additional the excise tax. The number of drinking teenagers is still not likely to decrease.
