Normally, when people go to new places such as rural areas or other counties, they will get lots of lasting memories and impression. They can learn and absorb the beauty of new places and one of the most favorite places is museum. In my view, people visit museums because it is a great chance to know the history of that place by their own eyes. Museums shows source of culture and lifestyle. Also, many people are fascinated by antiques.

To begin with, museums collect ancient things and story that of the tourist place. It shows the background form the past till the present. To illustrate, if people come to Thailand and visit National museums of Thailand, they can learn that Thailand have many great kings in every dynasty. That is, people can gain knowledge about history.

Moreover, people can learn about culture and lifestyle of local people. They will understand reasons of some rites and customs. For example, Thai people always pay their respect to the older. As there is cultural hierarchy system to call people who is older. Furthermore, Thai people mostly go to temple every sunday as they believe in making merits. What this means is, people can understand more about some actions or ceremonies.

Finally, lots of people go to museums to appreciate collectible items as they admired the exquisite refinement. For instance, there are really beautiful and gorgeous stuffs in the museums which hardly find in the present. Also, it seldom finds craftsmen who are so skillful like the past.

In conclusion, people visit museums when they go to new places because it shows chronicles of places. also, people will understand about local culture better. Lastly, museums are places where people can appreciate ancient stuffs.
