นี่คือประเพณีการขออนุญาตนำพระบรมศพไปฝังในสุสาน หัวหน้าเจ้าพนักงาน หรือตัวแทนของพระราชวงศ์ จะทำการเคาะประตู 3 ครั้ง เพื่อเรียกสังฆราชในวิหาร สังฆราชจะถามพระนามของพระบรมศพที่จะอัญเชิญเข้ามา
เจ้าพนักงานจะออกพระนามของพระบรมศพเต็ม...

จากนั้น สังฆราชภายใน จะขานมาว่า "เราไม่รู้จัก" ขอขานพระนามอีกครั้ง หัวหน้าเจ้าพนักงานจะเคาะประตูอีกครั้ง และทำการขานพระนามย่อของพระองค์ว่า Doktor Otto von Habsburg, and a number of his civic achievements, notably as President of the Paneuropean Union and Member of the European Parliament...
สังฆราชภายในก็จะขอให้ขานพระนามของพระบรมศพอีกครั้งหนึ่ง เป็นครั้งที่ 3 หัวหน้าเจ้าพนักงานจึงเคาะประตูวิหารอีก 3 ครั้งและขานว่า "Otto, a mortal, sinful human being" (แปลจากภาษาเยอรมัน) จากนั้น สังฆราชก็เปิดประตูและเปิดทางให้อัญเชิญพระบรมศพเข้าไป ตามคลิปดังกล่าว
