Ha, ha, ha...My writing sucks big time too. I want to improve my writing so much. I got myself so many textbooks on grammar and writing, but I'm bored to tears when I try to read them. When I get pissed off with learning English I test a lot of software programs that my computers go up the wall!
I've changed my learning tactics just recently. Instead of reading textbooks and academic papers, I read a lot of romance novels. Some of the authors are so ingenious at finding eloquent and elegant ways of depicting sexually explicit love scenes. Strange? Their creative imaginations give me so much poetic inspiration that I'm all of a sudden inundated with thousands of god-sent ideas for successful sentence construction even when I write something nonsexual.
I studied Chinese by myself for 2 days already. My goodness. It's a lot easier than studying English.
