ความคิดเห็นที่ 1 There are many movies that like. I'll begin with "A Knight's Tale". The underlining theme of the movie is "Change your star". Has anyone seen this movie? It's an old movie, though. If you haven't seen, you should. It's hilarious and yet filled with moralities. I really like the language used by Chauser, the writer, when he introduced the knight before the joust. Also, the language used in the letter to the princess was very poetic, lavishly touching. My favorite movie is Jurassic Park (of course, the first installment only). I remember watching this movie during my high school time (Mor 2) with my parents. To me, this movie is a true magic; not only in its superb special effect, but also in the way that Spielberg bombarded his audiences with breathtaking action scenes. ความคิดเห็นที่ 11 I cannot remember my favorite movie's name. I watched it on the cable TV. Jude Law (Not sure how to spell his name as I try not to use google to write this ;)) was the lead actor. He was a genius but cannot walk. He lived luxuriously but anonymous. One day he sold his profile to a man to disguise as him. That man dreamed of being an astronaut, however his physical was not qualified. So he had to use Jude Law's blood and urine whenever he was asked for medical check. At the end of the movie, that man was successful. He was able to be an astronaut and lived as Jude Law. But Jude Law committed suicide. No answer from the movie why Jude Law decided to do that. It left some points for audiences to think about it. What I loved about this movie was the eager to catch the dream of that man and the proud and smart of Jude Law. C&C welcomed. ความคิดเห็นที่ 12 My favorite movie is Burlesque. Burlesque is a musical film. What I like about this movie is the main actress, Christina aguilera. Her powerful voice was able to draw my attention, as well as others'. When she performed any song in the movie, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is such a real singer who is second to none. Likewise, I have brought the soundtrack album which is very fabulous. I listen to those songs every other day. In spite of her best intentions, Burlesque was unsuccessful. Someone said she was a great singer; on the contrary, she was a bad actress. Nonetheless, I'm sure that she didn't care about it at all. She is still beautiful for words can't bring her down. ความคิดเห็นที่ 15 Sorry, but I have to share more than one. My all time favorite must be The Shawshank Redemption. It is one of those most popular movies that makes you feel warm and fuzzy at the end. The other one I love is 3:10 to Yuma (2007 version), starred Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, both of whom I like very much. It was about a cowboy who tried to live up to the story he told his sons (that he was a hero in the Civil War). Of course, the movie is full of actions which might be a turn off for female audience but it actually will make you smile at the end. The last one is called Secondhand Lions. It is about a teenage boy who spent his summer with his two old uncles who lived in the middle of nowhere, faraway from any kind of entertainment. They didn't even own a TV.  It was boring until he heard stories from neighbors that his uncles have millions of dollars hidden away. Later he found out that the rumor was true. He had to find out how and where his uncles got the money from. This movie is hilarious. I have to say that singing is a great way to learn English. The dialogue is weird but the photography and score was great. The first time I watched it I just feel depressed but the 2nd - the 6th time, I cry (I watch this movie 7 times) and I still feel empty, lonely and sad until a few months later. ความคิดเห็นที่ 19 I think I can say I'm a movie lover, I usually see at least one movie every week. So, it's kind of hard to name the most favorite ones, (since there are so many!) But, for now, the one i want to talk about the most and i want to recommend will be AFTERSHOCK. It's chinese, I watched it last year at Lido. The story was mainly about the consequense of EARTHQUAKE, ( yeah, just like the title says) but more in the way of how an earthquake affected people's lives. Well, it's not like the earthquake occured and after that every thing just gone fine. it's considered to be a tagedy for many people and families. Things just not gonna be the same.. it's not that easy to deal with the loss and stuffs. Watching this movie, i cried since the first 15 min. to the very end. lol I strongly recommend that you watch it. It's really good. ความคิดเห็นที่ 20 Dr Zhivago (1965 version) keeps bringing me back fond memories! I must say that it's a brilliant movie.  Why?  Because I couldn't understand one bloody word when I watched this movie for the first time...lol. As a teenager in Torquay in 1967, I watched this movie with a Thai girl, who was a law student.  At that time my English was so poor.  I couldn't understand the movie, so I asked her to translatate everything into Thai for me, and she did.  We made too much noise that quite a few guys moved away from us to other seats.  Not wanting to cause any more disturbances, the girl decided to stop the translation.  I got bored with the movie, so I gave her a little peck on her cheek.  She turned around and said "You got saliva on my cheek!"  I was speechless.  I felt so embarrassed.  It was the first time that I went out on a date with a Thai girl. I didn't know how to act or behave.   A few days later, our holiday ended and we had to part.  It was such a brief encounter, but I knew well enough that the girl would be happy to see me again so that we could go steady.  However, I was at the time more attracted to western girls.  How stupid of me! Ten years later, after I had ended many disappointing relationships with western women I began to miss this Thai girl very much.  I often reflected upon her beauty and wisdom.  But by that time she had already married someone else.  Poor me. I cried and smiled during (and after) watching this movie. Bruno was so cute, so smart and so nice to his friend. I like the way the movie showed the reletionship between them, and the difference between Brono' family and his friend's. I could see horror thing through innocent Bruno's eyes, and it squeezd my heart because I could predict the end of the story. The piano duel between 1900 and Jelly Rolls Morton is spectacular. Amazing, I don't think a person as young as คุณเศียรนาคา would find it appealing. He was 15 or 16 when he watched it first time and instantly fell in love with the movie and the scores. He plays piano, though. His mobile phone ringtone is even "The Magic Waltz". Another nice musical is "Fame", the original one, that is. I love the "Hot Lunch Jam" scene when the students had a jam session in the cafeteria. The "I Sing The Body Electric" is another 'lift-up-your-spirit' song that I like. It is an old film which I had saw in UBC (that's time still be UBC not yet TRUE VISION). Try to imagine what will happen and what are you doing if you have stucked in the one day (you're immortal and you're know everything). This movie is regarding a reporter (Bill Murrays) who went to the uptown for report about groundhog day. That day, he and his team found the snow storm (disaster), they can't back to their home. They are struck in that down, and they must stay in this town in that night. In the morning, when he wakes up again, he found that he has lived in yesterday (Groundhog day). And it still be the same day (Groundhog day) in everyday. Whenever, he wakes up, he will found same situation, same people like yesterday. Everybody always said the same word like yesterday. However, he tried to suicide himself but he will wake up in the same bed and everything is going to be the same. I have loved this movie because of I wanna try to stuck in one day for practice my skill, and let to impress everyone by I know the subsequent events. Bruno was so cute, so smart and so nice to his friend. I like the way the movie showed the reletionship between them, and the difference between Brono' family and his friend's. While I was a child, I watched the Return of the Jedi several times and imagined that I was a Jedi and joined a space battle. I also like the Terminator 2. James Cameron made one of his best flims ever; the special effect in the film was stunning, especially T-1000. Others are Total Recall, Aliens, Forest Gump, Gremlin 1&2, and Superman. They are all trapped and destroyed by their addiction, including their dreams. This movie is extremely intense and heartbreaking. I got teary eyed watching this. One of the amazing things in this movie is Ellen Burstyn’s acting. Sadly, she didn’t get an Oscar that year. The winner was “Julia Roberts” from “Erin Brockovich”. In fact, practically all genres under the sun. Talking about TV series, by the way, 'Game of Thrones' will be back in over a month time. Still have over 700 movies of various genres to watch on my PC, and that will probably take me a few years to go through them all. Well, touch wood, I have all the time in the world. I normally watch the Wuxia movies first, once I finish them I'd go on to TV series then pick and choose any other movies, depending on my mood, to watch. Here you go: It's great to spend my time reading the comments and trying to tell you about my favorite movie. My favorite movie is "GROUNDHOG DAY". It is an old film I saw in UBC. (It was still UBC back then, not TRUE VISION). Try to imagine what would happen and what would you do if you were stuck in one repeating day. (You become immortal and you can sense everything). This movie was about a reporter (Bill Murrays) who went to uptown for a report on groundhog day. On that day, he and his team was caught in a snow storm (disaster) and they couldn't get back home. They were struck in that town and must spend the night there. In the morning, when he woke up, he found that he was living in the previous day (Groundhog day). And it would still be the same day (Groundhog day) everyday after. Whenever he wakes up, he would find the same situations, same people, just like yesterday. Everybody said the very same words like yesterday. He tried to commit suicide but would still wake up, be back alive, in the same bed and everything would still be the same. I love this movie because I wanna get stuck in that one day to practice my skills and to impress everyone that I know what would happen. ... Cheers and welcome! Leap Year (2010) is a movie about a successful American girl who is waiting for her American boyfriend to propose to her. She heard that in Ireland, it is acceptable for a girl to propose to a boy on February 29th. Coincidentally, her boyfriend is attending a conference in Dublin during that time. An accident on her flight to Dublin leads her to meet an Irish man who gives her a new perspective in life. I am in love with this movie, not because of the story, but the Irish scenery and country side. And since the ToW is favorite movies,my favorite type of films are comedy and feelgood this is why I have chosen  "The Blind Side" to be my number one film which I can come up with for now. The story is very cute but all the time during the movie, I only focused at an animation of the movie. I wishes one day I could make some graphics like that even though I didn't study directly this field but it's my hobby. ------------------------------------------ A few days ago, I had a chance to watch "The Melody"(thai movie). This is a story about a singer who was disappointed by his latest album and went to Mae-hong-sorn to get away from it all. He met a pianist woman who teach him to love and give. Finally he could be able to write a great love song. It's really sad but beautiful story, I cried since the first five minute 'til the end. The scenery of Mae-hong-sorn was so stunning and made the scene more touching. The song is so wonderful and perfectly match to the movie. I think, it's worth every single baht I paid. It's just a mild fighting such as writing a book but it's a poweful symbol. They work as a maids in the house of white people. They feed white babies like their own children and Babies grow up to be their employer in many years later. Sometimes, the employer dead but the maid still have to continue work in old family because they said "She belongs to us" .It's sound like a things, not human. I think  it was a painful history but the Americans can pass peacefully,it's so impressive. C&C please (I'm wondering ,how strict in the tense grammar in story like this. To me ,I had a lot of favourite movies but I see above already recommended. so I 'll represent " I am David " ( not the same with "I am Sam" na ja) I am david is a movie tell a story of a boy who live in a place some kind like jail.I don't know what it call in enlish the place that the soldier will gathering people from enemy country thay concer and use them as a slave during a war time. The boy live in this camp all his life and he never knew the outside world and one day he decided not to live here anymore and he will get out to find his own disteny. I love the end of this story very much .It teach us that everything isn't as you see and love is all around. I know it's had a lot of wrong word sorry about it. OK, here's another movie that I like: "Flags of Our Father". Another "must see". It's about how the government manipulates soldiers (and people) for the sake of war. There was a scene when strawberry jam was poured over the ice cream that was in the shape of a war monument. Man, I wept. Tears just flowed. That movie is really crazy, kinda giving me the goosebumps in the first half of it. the acting and the script are really crisp with all the nerve-racking elements coming from this murderer who gets contracted to kill all the victims involved in a shady deal like his creepy looks and hairstyle. Lots of people have complained about having a hard time understanding the characters due to the fact that it takes place in Texas and all of them but the antagonist speak with a deep southern drawl.
