ความคิดเห็นที่ 1 Hello, this is a very useful chit chat thread. I don't know much about cleaning but recently I have to do the cleaning by myself since I have just broke up with my girlfriend. She was the one who used to clean our place but I couldn't call it our place anymore since it's only me... By the way, she didn't leave me because I didn't help her with the cleaning. So please don't misunderstand. We took the train to Wong Wein Yai and walked around King Taksin monument and went to the market nearby. It was first time of him to get on the train. We really had a good time. ความคิดเห็นที่ 7 Funny! If I remember correctly, one of Agatha's books has a similar plot as mentioned by Khun fortuneteller. A victim was killed with an ice spear shot through his chest. It was some kind of booby trap set in the fridge. That's why they couldn't find the murder weapon. But that was not beyond Mr. Poirot's ability. The bad guy was caught at the end, naturally. I think I remember that plot about using ice as a weapon to kill ka, Khun Yinnerella. If I didn't remember wrongly, it might be just that one you've mentioned. Actually I read so many of detective novels when I was young (under 12) , but I rarely remember the details now. Another story that I heard of but I've never read that myself, it's in a Chinese detective book. A man kill another one with frozen Tofu. Believe me a certain type of frozen tofu is hard enough to knock you head down and no wonder that it can also be sharpen. After that, the killer ate the weapon so there was even no evidence left!!! And for the East - already got 1 team: Miami Heat, and still wait fir the winner between (Boston Celtic - Philadelphia 76ers) which still have 1 game left. (Boston Celtic - Philadelphia 76ers) will play the last games (game 7) on this Sat. And then, the winner of the East and the West will close the final, maybe next month :) "...close out tough series against..." That's mean Heat just got through the difficult, tought and hard games with Pacers because Heat played total 6 games (4-2) that's a lot if compared with the other final 4 teams -  Spurs played only 4 games (4-0),   -  Oklahoma City Thunder played 5 games (4-1), -  but Heat played total 6 games to close out the series. But Boston - Philadelphia 76ers will close out the tougher series because they both will play total 7 games (4-3), to collect the forth point to the next round. I'm shied from ordering that one because if the bartender is not up to par, it tastes horrible. It takes talent to master that drink.  My favorite winter drink is Chocolate Martini. For summer, Sangria doesn't sound bad. Khun lovelypriest, Gaga is just too queer. She can be funny though. I saw her appear once as a judge on American Idol.  My favorite singers are Adele, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Jason Mraz, James Morrison, and etc. These people became more mainstream now. When I first started listening to them they were not that well-known.  Now that I'm back to the US, I went back to listen to Pandora. It's awesome. To be able to improve our English we need to know what's right and wrong and correct it if need be. Khun yinnerella, I've never watched So You Think You Can Dance but I love American Idol. I've just started watching the whole season from last season, though. I fell in love with Scotty since the first time I heard him sing and I knew right at that moment that he would win. I mostly stay in my room all the day, really have no idea where to go and what to do. There is nothing much to do other than keep things in order, watch TV, read the books, and most of all, surf the net. I Sometimes feel tired of myself and don't feel like doing anything. However, I'd rather enjoy holiday than workday. By the way, I totally agree with the post number 52 of khun The Starry Night. I see see some minor errors here and there but it's no big deal as long as people get your message. Having said that, you have to be careful with capitalization, though. I just came back from tennis practice. Yeah, helping to point out mistakes is a novel idea. Without pointing out the errors, how can we learn, right? Do that to me too. I often goof. I'm out of voice. Did too much talking and drinking and singing and yelling and swimming ... name it all -- the throat-hurting activities. Yeah, smoking, too. I'm now sipping honey and lime to help solve the problem. Hope things get better by tomorrow morning. My work requires voice usage. I haven't been to the cinema for quite a long time so far.   Recently, I had a plan to go to see The Avengers, but so far, I haven't done as plan. I'm not sure whether or not it last till now. You know, Twilight 4 was the last movie I saw. For sure, at that time I decided to try soundtrack. That was my first soundtrack movie, in sprite of my poor listening skill. Surely, I couldn't catch and couldn't get the message in the movie so well.   I'm not sure if I made a good decision. ความคิดเห็นที่ 64 I saw the Avengers and loved it.  The thing with this kind of action movies is that you don't have to use a lot of brain to process them. It's so easy to understand even without reading the subtitle.   Unlike some thrillers or dramas with complicated plots, if you miss something someone say you're lost all together. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for example, has quite complicated plot you don't want to miss the dialoque in the movie. It also happened to me when I watched BBC's Sherlock Holmes. (I used to have a whole collection of the 1984 series starred by Jeremy Brett.) My problem was that I was more familiar with the American accent and it was difficult for me to follow the show in British accent (not to mention the Cockney). I had to turn on the English subtitle so that I could see what they were saying. That helped a lot.  Anyway, I suggest you try watching soundtrack movies if you can. It really helps improving your English skills. It takes a while to get used to and when you do, the movies are so much better.
