Of course, you can just reply with a simple...

'Yes' 'No' 'Maybe.'
But if you do say 'no', then the other person will probably ask...

Saying 'no' to someone can be a very difficult thing to do.

There are many different ways of responding to a request,

Replying to 'thank you'

After you have said 'thank you'

quite = adverb ทีเดียว เชียว แท้ๆ

appreciate = verb ชื่นชม เห็นคุณค่า
kindness = noun ความเมตตา น้ำใจ
"The pleasure is all mine."
"ความประทับใจเป็นทั้งหมดของชั้น"
"Oh thank you for the lovely birthday present...."
"โอ้ ขอบคุณสำหรับของขวัญวันเกิดที่น่ารัก..."
"... it must have been expensive,...."

expensive = adjective แพง
".... oh you shouldn't have."

"That's OK... "

worth = noun คุณค่า/
adjective คุ้มค่า สมควร
Saying 'please' and 'thank you' are very simple actions,
การกล่าว 'please'และ "ขอบคุณ" เป็นการกระทำที่ง่ายมาก
and by using them, you are showing that you are a polite person,
และด้วยการใช้คำเหล่านี้, คุณก็แสดงออกว่าคุณเป็นคนสุภาพ
polite = adjective สุภาพ เรียบร้อย
who is willing to show respect to other people,
