A (personal) approach towards success in learning English
May 26, 2005
Be an active learner
ต้องไปเรียน English at work หรือ Conversational English อีก
Ent

This lady was his wife. His house was once located near this temple. The temple had not been built :-) as it was two hundred years ago. Nathavut was a commander-in-chief. He was really skilled and the King and his men put their trust in Nathavut. One day, Nathavut had to go the border to drive the enemy off from his motherland. No one expected that Commander Nathavut could make a slip because every time he went to war, he would bring victory back home. He asked Ploy (his wife) to look after the house and their children while he was away.
Ploy, with a sad smile, replied, Yes, I will do this. Please Buddha be with you.
Nathavut kissed his wife before leaving and, as he did so, he was startled by the thought that he would never come back home again. However, he did not pay much attention to this at that time.
So, Nathavut went to war. He led his troops into violent battle; many soldiers on both side died. Nathavut fought bravely but was stabbed from behind by an enemy solider and died before he even fell to the ground. Then the troops were routed.
The news of his death was delivered within five days by one of Nathavuts trusted men. The King and his people deeply regretted the news. Ploy grieved terribly. From that day on she isolated to speak to everyone, including her children. It was said that she could be heard crying day and night. She pined away to her death
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
After Nathavut came out of his mediation he looked at Ploy more sympathetically.
Ploy! cried Nathavut in recognition. They hugged. The lady cried happily and attempted to convince him to stay with her. Somehow he had lost heart after seeing his past life. Although he now understood her pain, his answer remained No.
Sorry, my daring, I cannot come with you, although I still love you very much.
But why? asked Ploy, surprised.
I just cannot. We are now in different worlds. And
you are a spirit, but I am alive. We just cannot live together, Nathavut explained. More important, I am so happy now as I have peace of mind and heart.
The lady was now angry. Her voice became harsh again.
You must come with me. I love you. If you do not come, I will take you!
No. Please dont do that, Ploy. I still love you but I just cannot go back with you, said Nathavut.
Ploy moved towards him. Nathavut this time stood still; his legs just could not move. He thought he must do something or anything at all to stop this happen.
But he was confused and indecisive. This woman was his faithful wife, after all.
What should I do now? I do not want to betray her. She loves me and has been waiting for me for a long time, thought Nathavut.
Nathavut knew deep down that he still loved her. :-) he believed that this was impossible. He must make her realise that living together was impossible.
Time to go, my dear, smiled Ploy. She took him by the hand.
Wait, Ploy, shouted he.
Listen to me, Ploy. I love to come with you but now is not my time :-). I love you and I do want to spend time with you. If you really love me, please wait for me, explained Nathavut.
When will be your time?, Ploy asked sadly.
I dont know. In fact, nobody knows. If you still insist, you can take me now but please realise that you are committing a sin by taking ones life.
When its time, we will live together happily once again. Please trust me.
Ploy then let Nathavuts hand go.
I will be waiting for you. Always.
Goodbye, Ploy said reluctantly. Tears just kept rolling her face.
Before she turned her back and was about to leave, Nathavut moved towards her to hug her.
I love you. Please wait for me.
Both hugged for the last time
To be concluded
