Try using a "conversational pace" to monitor your efforts during moderate activities
1)-- If you can sing and maintain your level of effort, you're probably not working hard enough.
**The Energy Efficient or Recovery Zone - 60% to 70% of MHR**
2)-- If you can talk and walk at the same time, you aren't working too hard.
**The Aerobic Zone - 70% to 80% of MHR**
3)-- If you get out of breath quickly, you're probably working too hard
especially if you have to stop and catch your breath.
**The Anaerobic Zone - 80% to 90% of MHR**
