If you go to engadget.com, I think the majority still favor Nokia phones. I understand that some people here have bad experiences with Nokia Thailand customer service, but that DOESN'T necessary mean that Nokia phones are crap.
Putting Nokia Thailand aside, I think Nokia have like the best software support; I mean they're still issuing firmwares for many of their older phones. (Again, just go to engadget and you'll see how many people there hate Samsung for their lack of software supports, e.g. the I7500 case, a phone that's only a year old.) I used to think that the Ovi Suite was crap, until I tried Samsung New PC Studio & Samsung Kies which are even crappier and wouldn't even install & run properly on Windows 7 64-bit.
Samsung has its issues too, you know. Just search for the faulty/inaccurate accelerometer in the Galaxy S. Some users (here) have to root their Galaxy S just to fix this issue, and subsequently void the warranty of their phones. And for a 20,000+ baht phone, the Galaxy S construction is nothing thing to write home about either, i.e., its construction is rather disappointing for its price. I don't get this double-standard attacks on Nokia here.
IMO, I think Samsung Thailand does happen to have a very good marketing team, while the Nokia Thailand marketing team is not as good.
