Oh what short memories that city fans have.It was only a year ago that you were all shouting what a saviour Shinawatra was and he had all the money in the world and he had "A TEN YEAR PLAN"This new guy is a business man who buys and sells property how many years will this guy be into?Im afraid that city has become a commodity for rich people to play games with.Once man city is up and running could this be sold once again to the highest bidder...Britains sport is losing out to the rich and famous.

I am one of the few City fans, who are not 'over the moon' at today's events. I really hope that these shieks don't buy trophies in the way that Abramovic has done, forsaking our own developing players. I wouldn't get any pleasure out of City winning trophies in that manor. I'm hoping that our young players will still be the cornerstone of the team, whilst purchasing the odd quality player here & there that will help in their development.

The world seems to have gone mad...good luck to all the supporters but surely there should be regulations or salery capping to prevent the greed and selfishness thats destroying the game.No wonder the British national teams perform so badly, the kids coming through get little chance to develop the skills and committment required for the EPL.The England set-up is rapidly going the same way Scotland went, they produced great players for years, now nothing but mediocore gap fillers.City have a great academy but instant success will be demanded from the new owners which will prevent development of the youngsters.

I wonder which bank in their right mind would take the risk of getting involved in the financing of this transaction?! Risk in two words - MONEY LAUNDERING!!!!!!

Slow down fellas, while it is good to know that a Club with the history of Man City once again has some apparently long term stability, its ironic that Man City is turning into the sort of Club Man City fans love to hate - a club that tries to buy success outright!

Basically, Thaksin did NOT have the money and would have failed the fit and proper person test if/when he is found guilty in Thailand. In other words, everything I have been saying about the man since he took over. And if you want to know the level of debt he has left the club in, just look at the purchase price: £150m. Good riddance, Thaksin - my job is done.
