My fellows:
As a Thai, I deeply regret for the unrest political protest that blocked the ASEAN meeting today in Pattaya.
The reason the so-called, Red Shirt or United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) is demanding the current government of Thailand to resign and dissolve the House of Representatives.
The UDD has solid evidences that the government is backed by army top-brass and some of Privy Council members who planned to topple the elected-governments by majority of Thai people in the last few years.
There have been so many unfair trails against the government or the army opponents as some of you may have seen in the world leading media.
Thus, the current government of Thailand has no right to use power to negotiate or deal such a commitment with international community.
Again, as a Thai, I apologize for this incident and wish to cooperate with you in the near future.
