(ข่าวชิ้นที่ 1) Three bodies could be seen lying in the Rajaprarop Road area just north of the main rally base, according to an AFP photographer.
A foreigner living in the area who asked not to be named told AFP that he had seen about 20 Red Shirts carrying a Thai flag approach some troops.
"They advanced about 20 metres (65 feet) and then, without warning, the troops fired straight ahead," he said.
The military posted a sign declaring the area a "live-firing zone".
A nearby hospital reported that three bodies had been taken there on Saturday, but it was not clear if they were the same victims.
Several hours later, another man was also seen shot in the same area.

(ข่าวชิ้นที่ 2) Three people killed in fresh Bangkok unrest: AFP
BANGKOK: At least three people were killed Saturday in fresh violence in the Thai capital, according to an AFP photographer who saw their lifeless bodies lying on the ground.
Witnesses said that two other casualties were seen in the area but their condition was not known.
A security guard at the All Seasons Bangkok Siam hotel on Rajaprarop Road, north of the opposition "Red Shirt" demonstrators' rally site, said he had seen four or five civilians badly injured or killed in the incident.
The violence occurred in separate part of the city to where violent clashes broke out between troops and protesters on Friday, leaving 16 people dead and more than 140 injured as the army opened fire.
