22. I have had my changer for 3 years, and the other day I loaded up my magazine with some new CDs and installed it in the changer, and all it would do is display {ERROR - 30}. It never played any CDs. What does {ERROR - 30} mean?
The following is a list of error codes and what they mean. You may need further assistance. If so, call customer service (800-421-1404) to speak with a rep that might be able to tell you if you have a problem with your unit.
ERROR-11, ERROR-12, ERROR-17, ERROR-30 {caused by dirty disc} What to do.......CLEAN THE DISC.
ERROR-11, ERROR-12, ERROR-17, ERROR-30 {caused by scratched disc} What to do.......REPLACE THE DISC.
ERROR-14 {caused by unrecorded disc} What to do.......CHECK THE DISC.
ERROR-10, ERROR-11, ERROR-12, ERROR-14, ERROR-17, ERROR-30, ERROR-AO {caused by electrical or mechanical problem} What to do.......TURN THE IGNITION ON AND OFF - OR SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT SOURCE, THEN BACK TO THE CD PLAYER.
