ความคิดเห็นที่ 1 Re: Eid ul-Fitr(religious holiday this(next) week Monday October 22, 2006 Dear Mr......., I would like to bring to your attention the issue of Eid ul-Fitr, a Muslim religious holiday, expected to fall at (the end of this week.) As you may know, Muslims were fasting during most of October, which was when the month of Ramadan fell this year. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It is notable for its emphasis on seeking closeness to God through fasting, prayer and charity. This year, Ramadan began on September.... Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. It is a religious holiday and a time of joy and celebration. Because the Islamic calendar follows the lunar calendar and actual sighting of the moon is used to determine the date of occasions like Eid ul-Fitr, there is a possibility the religious holiday could fall on (Monday October 23, 2006 or Tuesday October 23, 2006 )this year. วันที่นี่ไม่แน่ใจนะคะ อาจไม่ใส่ก็ได้ In view of this, I would like to ask permission for absence from the department(company) on the ..... or ........ that is Eid-ul-Fitr.
