How do you explain the success of the new Beetle knowing that vans, big sport-utility vehicles, and pickups are Americas favorite cars and that the market for the two-door sports coupes in the United States in contracting rapidly? 3. Volkswagens dealers were mostly drained of enthusiasm by being starved of exciting models from the company for years. Hindsight aside, how can Volkswagen change dealers negative attitudes and create enthusiasm for the newly revived car?
