It all boils down to definitional and aspirational differences between the word 'salary man' and 'a professional'.
Personally, one working a corporate should aspire to be the best in one's field of expertise--to the extent that one can be called a professional in the field and can offer value added to the system. It is all about value add. A successful entrepreneur does so by creating an organization that adds value to the economy and a successful corporate type will also have to add value.
