The Fed watch goes into high gear
The Federal Open Market Committee makes its decision on interest rates tomorrow, and the talk is starting to escalate.
The bottom line is that financial markets around the world are expecting a pause after Friday's jobs report indicated a softening labor market.
Based on fed funds futures contracts at the close of trading Friday, there is an 83% chance that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will hold rates at 5.25%. The Fed will announce its decision at 2:15 p.m. ET.
