Dear Sir or Madam I would like to ask you to please monitor SCB E-banking due to inconsistency and unreliability of the system. On 31 dec 2011, I made a payment of HSBC Credit card via SCB E-banking, however the money has not been transferred to the recipient account. This causes me additional fees/fines for late payment on credit card and a bad record on Credit Bureau system.
Until now (14 Jan 2012) SCB has not been able to solve the issue, transferring the money to the recipient account. Moreover, SCB shows lack of care or take responsibility for the unreliability of the system to the customer (me). In my concern, this may have some effects to soundness of Thai financial system which was once I believed the payment through Thai electronic banking is reliable and secured. Often, I had made payments via E-banking.
I would like to ask all related departments of Bank of Thailand to please look after this case.
For more details, please read the following. In regard of making payment, I selected to make payment on the account (Comp code: 3409 HSBC Credit card account) which is the choice given in the SCB E-banking system. I had been able to pay through this method for about 5 times before. In this time on 31 dec 2011 I made another payment, however, the result has changed. The money was not transferred to the recipient account, even if the money was withdrawn from my account already. After confirming with SCB and HSBC call center, I acknowledged that the Comp code is incorrect ( As shown in picture the system gives us two choices (Comp Code 0066 and 3409) which both of them are HSBC accounts, another SCB call center confirms it.) The question is If both are HSBC accounts, why the recipient has yet got the money?
After contacting with SCB call center the first time on 6 Jan 2012, SCB has not been able to transfer the money to the recipient account. Since then, this is more than 5 working days and the loss for me is more than 10 days. This cause me lot of money and credit record on Credit Bureau system.
I would like to personally thank you for looking after this case and thank you for monitoring SCB E-banking inconsistency and unreliability which incurs the cost to customers
