Gotta give credit to the defending champions first. 5-0 start 3 years in a row is quite an accomplishment in the NFL nowadays. And don't forget that they play in the much tougher division than the Patriots.
2. NE
The Randy Moss acquisition has proven to be the best deal of the decade. Now the debate is whether they can go undefeated? Tom Brady has won mutiple SBs with much less talent.
3. DAL
Two words; Tony Romo. Despite having a bad day, he was still able to rally his troops. Hey Jerry!, pay the kid the money he deserves. Otherwise, several others will line up doing that in a heartbeat.
4. PIT
Mike Tomlin is able to retain the old school, smash mouth football, Pittsburgh style without a problem.
5. JAX
After losing in the season opener, Del Rio has tightened up his crew and now they're back where they belong.
6. GB
Favre has a little time left. Defense has stepped up tremendously. Running game is still missing though.
7. TEN
Despite a terrible performance of Vince Young, the defense bailed them out. This is what good teams do.
8. ARI
Hey! I'm not smoking anything. This is what they deserve. Beating the Steelers is never easy. Ken Whisenhunt is following Sean Payton's path.
9. CAR
They never quit. Losing a leader like Jake Delhomme will prove costly. Steve Smith is the best receiver today.
10. WSH
The improved defense is the key of their success. Jason Campbell shows a lot of poise and he can only get better.
