These are the signals that are confusing me over the last few days I have read stories of how happy Petrov,Elano,Richards are even , Elanos mum loves the club.
it all suggests to me they are contented with life at the club, and no mention of SGE (Sven Goran Erikkson) only a desire for the uncertainty to stop which is understandable, I think we have a split dressing room similar to us pro-Sven and anti-Sven on this site ?.
It is my opinion that there is not much love lost with any of the world class players and SGE.
Elano had a nightmare with SGE consistently playing him out of position, and I remember so many matches where Petrov became frustrated with his team mates inability to get on the end of his crosses, lack of support etc.
I think these players are ambitious professionals and can see we are going nowhere under the present set up.
When you look at all the players who have kicked up a fuss over SGE, like Dunne, Vassell, Sun, they are players who are on borrowed time at the club, they owed SGE a great deal just for being picked consistently. These are the players that tried to stitch us up in in the fairplay league with the performance at boro.
We all remember Sven's England days he caused a split in the dressing room and bad feeling there, surely we all remember the continuous inclusion of Beckham regardless of his performances which grated other players, they were even photographed on holiday together, there was a click of four or five players who would always support him no matter what, whilst players who deserved to be playing were ignored consistently.
I reckon this did England damage over time, watching England became like watching paint dry same team regardless a bit like us, personally I don't like it that clicky it is a bit unnerving knowing that team can respond in any way they see fit to show there disproval of any decision they don't like in support of their manager, whilst in return he rewards his loyal supporters with regular first team selection that explains players continuous inclusion regardless.., such an unhealthily relationship has dire consequences 1-8 at Boro springs to mind? What will we do if he stays keeps his loyal supporters and things start going wrong next season, how will these players response to criticism of their master?, think about it ..
There is a good chance once we rid the dressing room of the championship players and militants, that players like Elano might flourish next season with other professionals along side them, I thought it was strange the way Elano was dropped for Boro? Maybe Sven could not rely on him to play as badly as the others in support of him?
I don't care what anyone says I don't think the dressing room is a happy one, two different camps seem to be entrenched there?,I know which camp I want rid off along with SGE...
