UNITED are taking their big guns to Japan on Sunday in a bid to become world champions and land a £3.4m jackpot.
The European champions are going for it in Yokohama, with manager Sir Alex Ferguson resisting the temptation to leave some of his superstars behind in reserve for the festive season programme.
Fergie has sent a 23-man squad list to FIFA for the Club World Cup tournament.
Although the Reds boss is likely to excuse a number of players from the two-game schedule, he is still taking the bulk of his Champions League winners on the 6,000-mile trip.

The winner of that match will play Japanese outfit Gamba Osaka on Sunday and the winners will be United's first opponents in the semi-final on Thursday, December 18 in the Yokohama Stadium. The Reds will play the final or the third and fourth place play-off on Sunday December 21.
United and Ecuador's Liga de Quito have both been handed byes to the last four, thus guaranteeing an initial windfall of £1.3m,and the other clubs taking part are Al Ahly of Egypt and Mexico's Pachuca.
