US Open draw released

The draw for the 4th and final Grand Slam of the year at the US Open has been released and Elena is the #4 seed and will face a qualifier in the 1st round.
This match will be played on Monday or Tuesday. The 1st seed Elena can meet is #29 seed Maria Sharapova of Russia in the 3rd round.
Elena is seeded to meet #13 seed Nadia Petrova of Russia in the 4th round. #6 seed Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia could be a possible opponent in the quarters.
In the semis Elena could meet top seed Dinara Safina of Russia or #5 seed Jelena Jankovic of Serbia.
Elena has played the US Open 11 times before and her best result was reaching the final in 2004, last year Elena reached the semis.
