Julio Cesar 7.5: Could do very little to prevent the goal from going in, and despite a fairly quiet first half in goal, the Brazilian proved to be the saviour for the Nerazzurri in the second, to ensure that his side held on for the draw.
Maicon 7: Worked hard on the right wing as always, and unsurprisingly, it was his glorious ball into the area that set up the Stankovic goal in the first half.
Lucio 7.5: Was at fault for allowing Dominguez to get past him for the opening goal, however to his credit he fought back following by making a number of goal saving challenges and interceptions. Tested his luck in front of goal on a number of occasions as well.
Samuel 6.5: Lacked the pace to keep up with Dominguez for the opening goal, and moments later he picked up an unnecessary booking for fouling Bukharov on the edge of the area. Missed a great chance with his head on 87 minutes, which would have been the winner.
Chivu 6: Following a fairly solid start to the match, the Romanian struggled against Karadeniz in particular, who made his life very difficult all night.
Zanetti 6: Commendable performance by the captain. He didnt put a foot wrong, and did what he had to do, to ensure that his team attained a result.
Cambiasso 5.5: Made his 50th Champions League appearance, however unfortunately it wasnt one of his most dominant performances, as he struggled to keep up with the pace of his opponents at times.
Stankovic 7: Made no mistake by converting his first chance with a header on 27 minutes, although his impact was minimal with exception to the goal.
Mancini 5.5: Had the chance to shine from the start, however after failing to do so, he was substituted early in the second half for Quaresma.
Etoo 5: Looked a shadow of his brilliant self tonight, as he struggled to impose himself in any way. His only effort came on 22 minutes, when he saw an effort from an acute angle well dealt with by Ryzhikov.
Balotelli 4: Saw a long range effort strike the cross bar on the half hour mark; however he was sent off 30 minutes later for a second bookable offence, that consequently ended any hope his side had of claiming victory.
Substitutes
Quaresma 5: Offered some much needed pace up front, but failed to shine yet again.
Vieira 5.5: Came on in the latter stages for Cambiasso, although he barely touched the ball in the 10 minutes he played.
