ชื่อทีม ชื่อบริษัท หรือชื่ออะไรต่างๆ ที่คล้ายๆ กับตัวทีมแต่ประกอบต้วยคนหลายๆ คน เป็นพหูพจน์หรือเอกพจน์ก็ได้ครับ ขึ้นกับ organization ที่ต้องการ
ถ้าจะให้เป็นเอกพจน์ ก็จะเป็นไปในแนวทางการ จึงเจอใน content ของข่าว
When you refer to it as singular (which is
the more formal use of the two), you are referring to "it" or "the
organization."
ถ้าจัดเป็นพหูพจน์ จะออกไปในทาง "กลุ่มคน" ที่อยู่ใน "นาม" นั้นๆ ซึ่งจะเป็นทางการน้อยกว่า เป็นแบบง่ายๆ
When you treat it as plural, you are referring to "the
people of" Kohler, for example. This is definitely an acceptable use, more personal, less formal.
ซึ่งแบบพหูพจน์ ใช้กับพวกทีมก็ได้
This use can be compared to the plural reference to a team. Ex: "I love Man U. Next week, they will face Chelsea." Once
again, either use is perfectly acceptable.
