Stats of a great season: two million fans saw Borussia Dortmund! [8.05.] Borussia Dortmund finished the 2009/2010 season on fifth place and for the first time in seven years qualified directly for Europe though the league. The team showed consistency paired with footballing quality. Here´s a statistical review of BVB´s best campaign since 2003. bild BVB rank high in the fair play table. Penalties: Nuri Sahin, who had converted his first three penalty attempts, was denied by Wolfsburg´s Benaglio on matchday 33.
