Boateng Signs, Silva Is Second and Yaya a Close Third?
The transfer merry-go-round is slowly moving into gear for Manchester City with confirmation of Jerome Boateng's move to COMS.
It is also expected that David Silva may well be added to the Manchester City squad although there is, according to some reports, an issue with a secondary deal for a replacement at Valencia.
Although it is still likely that Silva will join, the Blues fans should not lose heart if it doesn't happen as Yaya Toure is being touted as a further addition to manager Roberto Mancini's options for next season.
Toure is forcing the hand of his current club Barcelona and is showing a real desire to join his brother Kolo on the payroll of Sheikh Mansour.
What this will mean for incumbent players like Stevie Ireland and Nigel De Jong is impossible to guess, but there were definite issues with both the quality and make up of the City midfield last season. So, it is by no means certain that either player would leave.
The next phase of Mancini's restructuring will no doubt focus on the defense with full backs the order of the day in a pre-world cup splurge that may well top £100m.
