Petr Cech 6.5 Tested more than he might have thought, the big goalkeeper made a number of comfortable saves and punched clear a few dangerous crosses. But did look a bit flustered after his nemesis Hunt entered the fray.
Bosingwa 7.0 The return of the Portuguese international was widely welcomed by the Stamford Bridge faithful, and he put in a performance to suggest he will be able to return to his level prior to a long injury layoff. Was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions and seemed to get forward and back with relative ease.
Branislav Ivanovic 6.0 A comfortable afternoon for the Serbian, although he will perhaps be angered by the number of times Wolves attackers found themselves winning headers inside his penalty box.
John Terry 6.5 A powerful performance from the England man, throwing himself into challenges with his usual abandon and constantly making life difficult for the wily Doyle.
Ashley Cole 6.5 A solid but unspectacular performance from the left-back, who had his moments flowing forward but seemed to pick and choose them more often than usual.
Michael Essien 6.5 Nothing more than average from the powerful Ghanaian, who was frustrated in a couple of dangerous attacking situations and wasn't quite his usual dominant self in the middle of the park.
Jon Obi Mikel 6.5 Another good performance from Mikel — arguably Chelsea's most improved player this season. The Nigerian was composed at the base of midfield and even dropped in as an auxiliary centre-back to change things up tactically.
Yury Zhirkov 6.5 Russian's incisive run and cut-back provided Malouda with the all-important opening goal. Was quite up to that point, and indeed quite since, but Ancelotti will nevertheless be satisfied with what he say from Zhirkov after his efforts in midweek.
Nicolas Anelka 7.0 Early doors looked complacent, almost expectant of a thrashing to come. But workrate grew as the game progressed and Wolves proved themselves up for the fight, and was often at the heart of any decent moves from the home side.
Didier Drogba 7.0 Welcomed back into the team, the Ivorian wasn't quite at his most imposing — the story of the entire team really. But he did cause Berra and Stearman untold problems with his movement and physicality, opening up the pitch on numerous occasions, and that was proven as his through ball allowed Kalou to put the game to bed.
Florent Malouda 6.5 Had the simplest of jobs to finish off the opening goal from eight yards out. Was otherwise efficient on the ball probing going forward, without really dominating the attacking play like we know he can. Withdrawn with about 20 minutes remaining for Kalou.
• Substitutions
Paulo Ferreira 6.0 Replaced Bosingwa with just over 10 minutes remaining. Solid at the back to see the game out.
Salomon Kalou **Top of the Match** (ด่าจนได้ดีเป็นศรีแก่ทีม ) 7.0 Given about 20 minutes to make an impact in place of goalscorer Malouda. And he did just that, finishing well after he was played through to finally put the game to bed.
Joshua McEachran N/A Given just under 10 minutes to continue his footballing education after Zhirkov's withdrawal. Made one phenomenal last ditch tackle on Ebanks-Blake, although the offside flag rendered it unnecessary.
