Salomon Kalou tells Carlo Ancelotti to play 4-3-3 as Fernando Torres' torment continues

Salomon Kalou has told Carlo Ancelotti that he should stick with a 4-3-3 formation at Chelsea.
The Ivory Coast international says that is the players preferred line-up and gives them the best chance of success.
Speaking after Chelseas 3-1 win at West Bromwich on Saturday, the forward said: We play our best games in a 4-3-3. Everyone knows that Chelsea is stronger like that.
We tried other formations and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.
Most of the players who have been here six or seven years are used to it. Its easier for us to adapt to that than any other system.
The way forward: Salomon Kalou goes close with a header at the Hawthorns and the Ivorian has been frank about Chelsea's preferred formation
Kalou admitted that the players are desperate for Fernando Torres to end his goal drought. Indeed, the team appeared to be almost playing exhibition football in the final 10 minutes to engineer a goal for the £50million striker at the Hawthorns.
But Kalou is concerned that if Torres does not find the net soon then it will start affecting his confidence.
I can play with Torres, said Kalou (right). People are putting him under pressure but you dont lose your quality in three months.
Its not easy. But you need time to adapt. We all wanted him to score. Even if he isnt in the right position, we gave him the ball because we feel like a goal is the only thing that he is missing.
Its the only thing everyone is thinking about. You cannot lose the quality he has, but you can become a different player without confidence.
Waiting game: Fernando Torres came off the bench to see this effort ruled out for offside
In contrast to Torres, Didier Drogba was involved in all three of Chelseas goals at West Bromwich.
The striker scored the equaliser after Peter Odemwingie had given the hosts the lead. Scott Carson could only parry a Drogba strike to Kalou to side-foot in for Chelseas second.
Then Drogba sent Florent Malouda scampering down the left before squaring to Frank Lampard to finish.
Drogbas one of the best Ive played against, said defender Jonas Olsson.
The game was over when Torres entered the fray in the final eight minutes. He found the net, only to be pulled back for offside. It appears the only way he is going to score is via the penalty spot.
But that means wrestling the ball away from Lampard or Drogba, which will be no easy task.
