ROGER FEDERER ended the season on a high by retaining his ATP World Tour Finals title.
The Swiss star beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3 6-7 6-3 at a packed O2 in London.
Victory was Federer's 70th in 100 career finals and he became the first player to win six year-end championships.
Federer hailed his French opponent for his fighting spirit.
He said: "We had an amazing match at Wimbledon and we had an amazing match today. We have the Olympics in London as well so maybe we can meet there, too.
"I couldn't be more happy, I couldn't be more exhausted. Jo took all of my energy today."
