The FBI is asking for help from the public in deciphering two cryptic notes discovered in the pocket of a victim in an unsolved murder case.
FBI cryptanalysis experts have had no luck making sense of the coded messages since agents found Ricky McCormick's body in a field near St. Louis in 1999.
"We are really good at what we do, but we could use some help with this one," said the unit's chief, Dan Olson, in a story posted on the FBI's website.
