พิพิธภัณนี้เป็นพิพิธภัณเรือดำน้ำของเรือดำน้ำรุ่น S-189
เรือดำน้ำรุ่นนี้ถูกนำมาใช้ตั้งแต่ปี 1955 ถึงถึงช่วงปี 1998
ภายหลังจึงถูกนำมาจัดเป็นพิพิธภัณ
อยากตั้งเป็นกระทู้เพื่อคนไทยจะได้มีความรู้เรื่องเรือดำน้ำให้แยอะ ๆ

The S-189 submarine had 3 important dates in its history. 1955 – it was put into service. 1998 –
it sank. And 2005 when it was lifted from the bottom and turned into the museum. Now it’s located in St. Petersburg.
Fortunately, nothing has changed inside this submarine, and one can still feel quite claustrophobic there. “It’s still afloat,” the staff is kidding. “And if one overhauls its engine, it will definitely sail”.
