แอบมาดู บทกวีรุไบยาตฉบับนี้เป็นฉบับที่ Edward Fitzgerald แปลเนอะ
ดูเหมือนจะพิมพ์ผิดอยู่นิดหน่อยด้วยนะคะ
I.
Awake! for Morning in the Bowl of Night
Has flung the Stone that puts the Stars to Flight:
And Lo! the Hunter of the East has caught
The Sultan's T urret in a Noose of Light.
บทนี้ดังมาก ๆ พูดถึงช่วงเวลาตอนเช้า เด่นที่การใช้บุคลาธิษฐาน
อะไรหมายถึงอะไร เช่น the Hunter of the East ตีความเอาเองนะคะ
II.
Dreaming when Dawn's Left Hand was in the Sky
I heard a Voice within the Tavern cry,
"Awake, my Little ones, and fill the Cup
Before Life's Liquor in its Cup be dry."
เอ่อ stanza (quatrain) นี้ออกแนวจังซี่มันต้องถอนจริง ๆ นั่นแหละ ^ ^"
แต่มันไม่ถึงขนาดนั้นหรอกค่ะ

Come, fill the Cup, and in the Fire of Spring
The Winter Garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time has but a little way
To flyand Lo! the Bird is on the Wing.
พูดถึงเวลา เปรียบเทียบเวลากับอะไร ต้องลองทำความเข้าใจดูเองค่ะ

อันนี้ไม่มีอะไร ตรงไปตรงมาตามนั้นเป๊ะ
ที่พูดมาอย่าเพิ่งเชื่อ เพราะไม่ได้จบวรรณกรรมตะวันตก รอความเห็นถัดไป
