CLEANING YOUR FILTERS:
Due to their high precision, filters should always be handled with care and kept clean whenever possible. Filters should be cleaned gently with just a lens tissue or soft cotton cloth.
Never use any chemicals, such as lens cleaning fluid, on your filters, as these can damage the coatings. If any stubborn stains occur, these can usually be washed off with some clean water and a soft cotton cloth.

Filter Cleaning
Next, you need to select a cleaning solution and tissue. Use Kimwipes, Kodak lens tissues, or a clean soft lintless cloth (there are some made for the purpose). Never use Kleenex or paper towels as they can contain abrasives. It is always best to start with the most benign cleaning fluid and progress to stronger solvents if necessary. Glass cleaner, such as Windex or Kodak lens fluid, is a good starting point. If it is ineffective, try denatured alcohol. For tougher jobs move on to Trek III (trichloroethylene) or, if all else fails, acetone. Make sure that acetone is only used as a last resort because it can remove black paint. Depending on what part of the filter is being cleaned, there may be some black paint used. Paint is often used over the black anodize to produce a flat black matte finish.

เอาความรู้ทางเคมีมาถกกันอาจไม่ช่วยอะไรมาก หากไม่มีการพิสูจน์หรือทดลอง (ไม่มีงบให้ทดลองซะด้วย  )
โดยหลักการแล้ว ไม่ว่าจะใช้น้ำยาเช็ดเลนส์ ตัวทำละลายอินทรีย์บริสุทธิ์ หรือ detergent ก็ทำหน้าที่อย่างเดียวกันคือล้างเอาสิ่งสกปรกออกจากผิวเลนส์/ฟิลเตอร์ อย่างไรก็ดี สารที่ใช้จะไปชะเอาอย่างอื่น (โค๊ทติ้งค์) ออกมาด้วยหรือไม่ ผมไม่ทราบและไม่มีข้อมูล
แต่ส่วนตัว ถ้าผมมีเงินซื้อฟิลเตอร์ราคาแพงๆ มาใช้ ผมจะหาซื้อน้ำยาที่ผลิตขึ้นมาเืพื่อใช้กับเลนส์/ฟิลเตอร์โดยเฉพาะครับ
ที่เหลือก็แล้วแต่วิจารณญาณของแต่ละท่าน ใครใครทำอะไรก็ตามสะดวก
