Since you have series in mind and kinda have your own style.
You can try to search over there.
They will provide you which series are pretty similar to the one you like.
You can also watch online, streaming in quite a good quality, if you wanna follow each week.
Links might be available for old seasons, but you have gotta try hard to find it.
I personally use http://www.sidereel.com to keep track of my series if I am up to date or not because sometimes I could not have time to watch it right away.
