It depends on quite a few things. What is your definition of "ทะเลาะ"?
I think, if I disagree with someone about something, that's not necessarily ทะเลาะ. It can be a constructive discussion actually.
I believe we certainly can agree to disagree but the problem is some people are prone to attacking the others who disagree with them.
Instead of attacking the issue or the argument, they attack the person.
And many times, it's just about personal preferences. But "how could we ทะเลาะ on which bag is more beautiful?", you ask.
Of course, we could ทะเลาะ on just about anything or everything if we wanted to.
I'll give you a perfect example. I'm sure you can imagine this kind of ทะเลาะ in Chalermthai. here goes...
Apple: I love p'Ken (the actor). He's so handsome and cute and loving. He's perfect. <--- Apple's opinion. It is not a fact because physical attractiveness is subjective.
Bee: I don't think he's handsome at all. His nose looks weird. Besides, he can't even act. I'd rather watch paint dry than watching his lakorn. <--- This is also Bee's opinion because whether or not Ken can act is subjective.
Apple: Bee, you b*tch! How dare you criticize my p'Ken! Have you ever done anything good in your life? He's 10,000 times better than you. At the very least, he's entertained millions of people. You seriously need an eye exam. Clearly there's something wrong with your taste in men. Oh, I forgot. You don't have any! If p'Ken is not handsome, then who is? Yeah right, I'm sure your boyfriend is more handsome than him! You just secretly wish you could land someone as good looking as p'Ken. Dream on, sour grapes!
Cat: Bee, you'd better shut the f*** up and leave this kratoo right away. This is a place where we come to express only our love and admiration to p'Ken. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions BUT you and your negative opinions can go some place else; we don't give a d*mn. Shoo!
Bee: ?!??
Ps. to Ken's fans--please do not send your troops out and hunt me down. I was only joking, of course. Maybe my silly example can lighten up someone's mood, away from the current Thai political situation.
