Ultimately, Cool even established a business relationship with Jungshin, employing him as the honourable head of publicity of Cool Music and he also lived up to our expectation, blurting out: Cool~ Very Cool~ Very so hot~! as Cool magazines promotional slogan, which instantly brightened our editors heart (although with a mistake in the English structure, anyway, who cares

COOL: All of those who yearn for bands are bound to be influenced by certain people, are there any musicians who have influenced you greatly?
Jungshin: All of our situations were different. I was influenced by friends who love music, and thats how I got the chance to be where I am today.
Yonghwa: I saw Mr. Childrens performance when I was in middle school, ah they were really so charming! From then on, I had thoughts of forming a band, and later also with the influence from some other bands; this led to the shaping of our current style.
COOL: After being directly involved in composing music and writing lyrics, I feel that your music is filled with a multinational style. Which type of music style has your music been influenced by the most?
Jonghyun: I personally like Japans Bump of Chicken very much. I enjoy listening to their songs, and their lyrics are so beautiful like a poem. After developing the thought of: I also want to produce such music in the future, my subsequent compositions are more or less influenced by them. And Yonghwa hyungs song compositions are more towards the European style. Actually, all of our members like different music styles and genres, maybe this is the reason why our songs sound so unique.
COOL: Yes, your latest composition gives a very J-ROCK feel

Cool: Yonghwa has been seen as being extremely timid, did you get scared when you were in Japan, where the horror culture is more advanced?
Yonghwa: I am very serious and totally honest when saying this: among the members, I am the least afraid of ghosts and spirits.

Beginning with the Nightmare Before the Interview
All students please take note that this nightmare did not make use of SC editors favourite descriptions. At the dawn of the interview, Cool just broke away from the clear atmosphere, with very little sleeping time left. Stone, who was in charge of the main interview, dreamt of having a big commotion with photographer Chen He about choosing plain or flowery backdrops, and even engaging into a fight. During the struggle, an iPad flew off and landed on Jungshins head, causing profuse bleeding. The manager was so furious that he threatened to end the whole interview, while kind-hearted Yonghwa tried to mediate the situation immediately
. With the success of the interview still a mystery, Fatty awakened. After getting up, he immediately phoned our photographer Chen He and related the nightmare tearfully, urging to keep peace, be respectful, friendly and helpful to each other later
(omitted civilised vocabulary). In the end, Chen He made fun of him: Stone, I will definitely follow the script to accommodate you
Phew , puffed out a cold breath. As a result, with the ill-feeling of the nightmare existing throughout, Cool went to the hotel very early. With the company of the staff, we explored the shooting venue, tested the lightings and put up the backdrops; we almost had a breakdown due to the nervousness.

Before the photo shoot, the few of them stood in front of the backdrop practising Mandarin with absolutely no restrain. Besides grabbing us to correct their pronunciation, Yonghwa and Minhyuk even engaged in a conversation using the Mandarin they understood (please refer to original Cantonese versions of Hong Kong movies from the 90s for this situation), accompanied by Yonghwa-goons many types of engrossing hand gestures. This incomprehensible conversation could still last very long unexpectedly, while the other two bystanders laughed till muscle cramps. When Cool requested for the photo-taking, Yonghwa would gaze at us sincerely, and without waiting for the translated explanations, he would say: Oh! I understand.
Jungshin ah, you are required to move inwards a little! Actually, what we said was for Jungshin to move outwards a little (Sweats!). After warnings, Yonghwa finally bid farewell to his know-it-alls, but then why was there suddenly a copy-reader machine at the scene!!! Jung Yonghwa Competition Between the Extremes
The Busan man who believes that coffee is more important than blood; even if he was secretly yawning due to tiredness, he would still appear energetic in front of us. During the interview, not only did he pretend to be angry and giving us a bad scare, he also kept correcting Cools Japanese language structure, insisting on allowing himself to enjoy at least one honorific treatment before letting the matter rest. Kang Minhyuk Suppressed Desire
Previously during the interview in Hong Kong, Cool had already broadcast that Minhyuk really is very handsome in person, not just innocently cute! His skin really is so crystal clear like what Yonghwa-goon had described transparent and pure just like babys skin. Minhyuk is also the slow-to-get-started type, his mischievousness and playfulness need to be guided by the others in order for it to be glorified. During this interview, he and Yonghwa had topped the level of mischievousness, whenever they were taking group photos, the shooting venue would be covered by a strange light pink aura (there is photo to prove it for those whose disbelieve) (T/N: light pink referring to their bromance). He revealed: In order to get familiar with the camera, I did a lot of practice in private, we did witness his great improvement in this area during the photo shooting; other than being courageous enough to do some playful expression, he was also able to rapidly understand Cools intention and displayed many pleasantly surprising actions (Applause!). However
Minhyuk, who was very talkative in the previous interview, had been rather isolated in this interview. As he was sitting the furthest away from Cool, Minhyuk had difficulty maintaining eye contact with us from the beginning, receiving unfair treatment. On 2nd October, wearing a series of light blue warm clothing for their autograph event, which was held successfully in the afternoon, the members changed into cool black coloured clothing at night; only Minhyuk had some red colour on his clothes and Yonghwa wore a long necklace with the letters CNBLUE as decorations, which was especially eye-catching. There were no colourful costumes, but only glamorous instruments, from which we could see their ambition of having music as the most important over other things. And all we waited was just to be conquered.
Crazy Prelude
As it was an overseas performance, the songs that CNBLUE chose this time were mostly their English version ones, for example the opening Lets Go Crazy and Love Revolution, later on Now or Never . With the drumstick hitting in the air for three times, the warm-up process could be totally omitted from here, Yonghwas extremely penetrating vocals were able to awaken the whole audience immediately within a second. Looking at the scene where Jungshin and Yonghwa were playing their instruments facing and taking big steps towards each other on the stage, the audience brightened their eyes, using the highest decibel to repay this period of waiting.
In-between two songs, the members continued to lead the atmosphere, the action of raising their hands over their heads clapping had naturally attracted the audiences obsession to follow. During two songs, Jungshin, who had been promoted to lead singer, gave everyone an enormous surprise. CNBLUEs powerful abilities had once again been proven here so long as they were willing to: all four members can be lead singers. Compared with Yonghwa, whose passion was overflowing right from the start, Jonghyun was just starting to have some reaction of his inner excitement and stepped on the speaker, shocking us and irresistibly feeling emotional towards the unsettling cells in his bloodstream. With Jonghyun persistently abandoning his shyness, finally Yonghwa surprised us greatly with his beautiful gliding of his vocal (T/N: portamento).
Hello everyone~ We are CNBLUE! After using Mandarin to do a simple introduction, Minhyuk, being the bands friendly exchange ambassador, stood up with a Ceng, and spoke up displaying an obedient look: Hi everyone, I am Minhyuk, fragrance (T/N: xiāng) to come to China very much? Oh, really thinking (heavy tone) (T/N: xiǎng) of coming to China very much! After continuing with his English emceeing, which was full of grammar mistakes, the first massive sing-together with the audience was simply triggered with CNBLUEs Im a Loner, their debut song in South Korea.
Perfect Harmony
If Yonghwas voice was to be described as a rapid stream, then Jonghyuns voice would be the calm and peaceful river flowing into the sea
just like Jonghyuns analysis. Yonghwas special style, besides being influenced by European music, Japanese music, Korean music, and his own unique music performing skill (god of hand signing?) has all become his individual trademark. As for Jonghyun, he is more like a piece of sensible white paper, with a tiny trace of penetrating clarity. In short, the collaboration between the two, be it physically or mentally, reflected the Busan gangs mutual understanding and inborn superiority.
After the first set of songs, Yonghwa changed his guitar; Lovelight began with Jonghyuns crooning, and entered a climax with Yonghwas rap. However, never restrict to a certain concept, once we listened to the chorus where Yonghwa sang with his warm voice, you would know the greatness of this combinations potential! Of course, other than the teasing vocals, and the provocations among the instruments, Yonghwa and Jonghyuns strumming battle, with the intrusion of Jungshin, quickly formed a three-point halberd war, taking us by surprise.
Hitting the Roof After Provocation
Everyone had just warmed up, but the members announced This song is last song!, causing panic to the audience! Love! progressively, increasing the words till the ninth time; everyone was defeated by his powerful memory, Yonghwa also could not refrain from laughing

.With the lyrics: Im a Loner~~ Ohohohoh~ of the rock version on repeat, Yonghwa was completely liberated, jumping and shouting, with no concern over his image, unrestrained laughing: his fully engrossed expression in contrast with his sweating forehead, unable to go unnoticed. The Q&A segment was naturally included. When talking about their feelings of visiting Shanghai for the first time, all the members presented Good in perfect Mandarin pronunciation. Although the excessive movement of the mouth caused some burden, being able to flexibly expand the wordings Good! Good! Compared with the official questions, the fans questions were more interesting. The first probing question of Who is actually the naughty one triggered the situation of revealing many vicious truths. . After simplified by MC Jung, the members became a fool, a weirdo and a silly chap; he was the only clever, humorous, and very well-educated one. However, Yonghwa should not be careless; could you have forgotten that Jungshin had gone through vicious training in variety shows? Actually I am the kindest; that is why I can accept his playfulness and support his jokes only. (belittled) Jungshins full talent immediately put down Yonghwas exuberance.
The atmosphere at the venue became warmer, and fans started to gradually move forward to the stage. Seeing potential danger existing in the situation, the members unexpectedly used Mandarin to say four big words: Safety first, without being taught!!! Just when we became moved to tears and felt touched, the members became playful again, tossing the four words around while saying them. Not only did they sound like chanting spells, they even at one time produced En Heng En Heng~ sounds thoughtlessly, emphasising only on the tone

Finally, the playful behaviour of the four were stopped in time by the emcee, who immediately threw out the second question of the day: Do the three members with A blood type get angry with each other because of small matters? A common saying goes: skills not pressuring on self (T/N: having many skills will not pressure a person), all the members of CNBLUE have so many talents which we roughly understood from the first day we knew them, letting out a tinge of sincere emotion. Which are the musical instruments that the members like most?: Facing such a question which a normal band would answer smoothly, CNBLUE had to frown slightly while making a choice. Minhyuk: Aiyah, I really like many musical instruments! Because I am a drummer, so I will like drum most. Jonghyun: Although I am a guitarist, I really like the bass and can play it very well~. Yonghwa: Although I am a guitarist, I really like drums, I am prepared to work hard practising, to snatch the position away from Minhyuk. (Laughs) Jungshin: I really love the bass, other than that I also like the piano very much.
The next question followed immediately: If you were to become an all-rounded band, which musical instruments would you choose to play concurrently? Jonghyun was the first to shout decisively: Bass!. When a girl named Kitty went on stage, Jung Yonghwa ask her sternly with a derailed question: Are you a cat? The girl did not know how to respond to his question. Its not about the embarrassment from the hugs nor the fact that the hugs had caused Yonghwas face to blush. Jane, who was the next fan to go on stage, had a request unlike others; as it was coincidently her birthday, she hoped that she could sing a birthday song together with the others! Firstly, Yonghwa moved swiftly to the side of the stage to fetch her, then he sat behind the drum set after adjusting his butt on the seat, while Jonghyun was in charge of playing the guitar and singing! As a result, this lady had received the most beautiful wish in the whole event.
. I have always been very supportive of them! This is the first time someone sang a birthday song in Korean for me!
